2022 has been tumultuous for global equity and fixed income markets. Investors are bracing for continued uncertainty with geopolitical concerns, recession anxiety, and a general lack of consensus surrounding direction in the market. These conditions led hedge-fund pioneer Paul Tudor Jones to tell CNBC:
"If there was a strategy that I would want to employ right now… I'd say simple trend-following strategies. They are not too popular today...They will probably do very well in the next five to 10 years."
